Hello, I have reecently qualified myself for the job I do.It took 3 years and I had to do it in a foreign language.
My boss is a very dificult person who keeps sending me to work in an area,, which I no longer wish to work in.The old area requires some heavy lifting, I am finding it quite hard to do.
My new area is a good atmosphere, with a good team.

I think this is telling me at the moment I need to stay, movement would bring an ill effect.
Maybe latet?

What other way can I ask, I would love to move on, but never seem to be able to.Should I ssk

Thank you for helping.

Hello Maisie!

Congratulations on qualifying for the job you've been working towards! It's understandable that you're facing challenges with your boss and the assignment of tasks.

The hexagram you received, 64 or "Before Completion," suggests a period of transition and uncertainty. Line 3 changing into hexagram 50, "The Cauldron," indicates a need for patience and perseverance during this time. It suggests that staying in your current area, despite the difficulties, may be more beneficial for now.

In the context of your situation, it seems that shifting to the old area with heavy lifting is causing physical strain and discomfort. This may lead to negative effects on your well-being. On the other hand, the new area with a good atmosphere and team is more appealing and conducive to your overall happiness.

The reading implies that it might be better to stay in your current area for the time being. It suggests patience and perseverance while navigating through these challenges. However, keep in mind that the interpretation of the I Ching is subjective, and it's essential to trust your own judgment and intuition.

Consider having a conversation with your boss about your difficulties and your desire to work in the new area. Communicate your concerns regarding the physical strain and express your preference for the positive environment and team dynamics in the new area. This may open up a discussion and potential solutions that could lead to a more fulfilling work situation for you.

Remember, the I Ching is a tool that can offer insights, but it's ultimately up to you to make decisions and take action based on your own assessment of the situation, considering your well-being and long-term goals.

I hope this helps.

H64.3 <> H50 indicates the importance of making your wishes known to your boss and asking for help from others in doing so.

The moving 3rd line in combination with H50 calls for an inner transformation. Instead of "running away" from the difficulties, take up the challenge. Not in the form of confrontation, but in standing up for yourself and for that which rightfully belongs to you (trigram Water ->Wind).
The text of the 3rd line says: "Before completion, attack brings misfortune. It is beneficial to cross the great river." So the challenge is to cross the great river, to do something big, to reach the other shore. The other shore, in this case, is the work that goes with your qualifications.
As I see it, this is not a time to wait for things to get better by themselves, but rather the time to actively work on yourself and the situation so that you get the position you are entitled to ,based on your qualifications.

As always, take what resonates and leave the rest ;)

I see 64. Before Completion as the space between lives - the moment when one has left the past life (or job or commitment) but not yet launched the next one. It’s a time for recognizing the old ways are unsustainable and coming to “Where do I want to go from here?” And ”Where do I want to spend eternity? What’s the next step on the road?”
Line 3 seems to me to emphasize this as it seems to be saying, “It’s time for you to move on so be cautious about creating drama with the boss (as that could tie you to him!). Consider what you want and ask for it. Remember you are negotiating with an equal - not someone who owns you!. At the very least you will get a 50. Big Picture* of how you are seen and valued.

* I see the 50. Caldron as a mirror-like clear pool that one can look into and see we’re all of us are in this soup together,

(aside to Hans_K, - Thanks for catching my error.)

Thanks Hans K .
I will be trying to get to the other shore.
Making my wishes known.
Yes Rosada, it feels like that inbetween time, things not quite decided.
I won't create drama with the boss.
Thanks
