I've casted the same question before the first round, but I believe it's better just do focus on the new answers I've just got after the first results.
We're facing presidential elections in my country. Now we are going towards the second (and last) round.

I asked:

Situation for candidate X:

Hex 14.3.4.5 to 61

Situation for candidate Y:

Hex 51.3 to 55

------

So for the candidate X, I believe hte Yi is saying that

14 - "the two trigrams indicate that strength and clarity unite"
Line 3 - "a magnanimous liberal-minded man (...) should place it at the disposal of the ruler or of the people at large"
Line 4 - "(a man) must look neither to the right nor to the left, and must shun envy and the temptation to vie with others"
Line 5 - "people are being won not by coercion but by unaffected sincerity. HOWEVER, benevolence alone is not sufficient"

For the candidate Y, Yi seems to be saying that

51 - "this movement is so violent that it arouses terror. it is symbolized by thunder"
Line 3 - ""the present hexagram refers less to inner schock than to the shock of fate. the individual overlooks all oportunities for action and mutely lets fate take its course"

------

This seems favorable to candidate X, as long as he makes a few changes on his discourse.
But at the same time, candidate Y shows shock (thunder) and FATE on his side (?).

We'll have the results on the 30th of this month.

Thoughts?
Thanks!

I agree it looks positive for x. He seems to 14. Possess an 61. Inner Feeling for the job.

I think 51.3 is saying that while one might have assumed Y would win he will be 51. Shocked to find Fate is not on his side. His political career has already 55. Reached The Peak.

Thanks for updating!

Hexagram 14
Line 3 shows a candidate with exaggerated grandeur and who is not on good terms outside of his political circle.
Line 4 asks the candidate for humility, restraint and control because he thinks he is stronger than he really is.
Line 5 shows that he is the ideal candidate.

Weird!

Hexagram 51
It shows a candidate who works on a transformation gradually, seeking help from powerful people.
But he is a candidate who is not shaken by the circumstances.
Line 3 shows a candidate in a dangerous position, trying to avoid harm by adapting to circumstances. I'd say he's afraid of something and he feels like he's walking on eggshells.

I'd never have guessed that this candidate would win for the hexagram cast!

According to Professor Hindsight :

14 > 61 Candidate X seemed to have had what it would take..
But…
51. Shock! …
Candidate Y ends up on..
55. The Top!

I thought 55 as the second hex meant Y had gone as far as he could go but now I see as the second hex it was signaling Y would come out the leader. Someone really should start a thread for what the second hex means. Or make a special category in WikiWing.

It already does have headings in WikiWing; they're just mostly empty because it's so hard to get clear ideas of them. :spinning:

Oh, right! I see now there is an area in WikiWing in each hexagram:
”Hexagram as a whole”
And then below that
”Relating hexagram.”
for posting what the hex means when it comes up as the second hexagram. Thanks!
