Hi,
I was married for 18 years but the last 3 years was on again off again until he finally took up with another woman. I was devastated as I wished we cld just sort our problems out so we cld stay together. Once he took up with the other woman I chose not to see him or speak to him as I felt that was easier for me to cope with the situation and heal my broken heart. I have stuck to my decision and any attempts on his part to contact me have been deflected by me so I have not seen him or spoken to him in over 10 months but I have reason to believe he will attempt a reconciliation in the near future.
My question to the I-Ching was 'Is xxxxx likely to come back into my life? I received Hex 42.2.3.6>5

Hi Melissa
It's always more difficult to make an interpretation when the question asked can be answered with a yes or no. Sometimes if the issue is really important, it can be worth spending a bit more time shaping the question, so that the Yi can shape the answer better for you to interpret. Something like " What if xxxx attempts a reconcilliation?" or "Describe the big picture if xxxx attempts a reconcilliation?"

....... but here goes

This is perhaps about you and your journey.
The way that you have been acting over the last 18months has been a positve thing for you to have done (Hex 5) this has brought about alot of big changes in you and your approach to all sorts of matters (Hex 42). The changes that are coming to you now can be met with a much more positive attitude. You have grown and some people see you more now as a role model (42.2) and long may it continue. Hey Mike,
Yes you have hit the nail on the head. I have learnt and grown so much and through this particular experience have managed to help others get through similar, also I note my children have also noticed the difference in myself and become so much greater in themselves as well.
I take note on wording my question in a better way for the IChing.
