I am noticing an interesting trend in my I Ching readings. Lately nearly every reading has 3 or 4 changing lines and often even 5. Does this mean that things are so up in the air in my life that I can't pin them down, or what? I mean I've not had less than 3 changing lines for at least 3 months.

HELP!?

Sheri, when the wind blows, the leaves fall. Either there is a lot of movement in your life at present, or the Yi is trying to stir you up.

Ha! I noticed exactly the same thing over the last week or two. Tried to post a question about it, but somehow it never got through.

Hi Sheri,

To me much changing lines is a signal to much is going on, mostly about emotions and thoughts that are going all over the place... Today you feel or think this, then the next day you feel orf think that... The Yi is then just giving you a mirror image of your behaviour, feelings, thoughts etc, and probably is also saying that you should slow down a bit... Besides that there is also a chance that there are way to many options outside of you... To many choises and because you are insecure of picking at least one of them up, the Yi is telling you: ?hee, you can do this... you can do that, but how would I know if you change your way of feeling and thinking all the time :-D?)...

And there is also a chance that he is actualy trying to say something to you that you should realy become aware of... Look at same lines, same hexagrams, same messages...

Hang in there.

Hug,
Frank

Thank you all. It does make sense that things are going all over the place. I am in such a state of flux and change internally, and yet nothing is changing in my outer life. It feels like there is this gigantic buildup happening and one day - BAM!! Slowing down sounds nice, but my body is rebelling against my lack of motion. Many tensions and pains screaming to be resolved. Time to let the shift occur.

Thanks again!
Sheri
