I put a set of cards that mean a lot to me in a "safe place" quite some time ago while reorganizing my house. Apparently it's so safe I can't find them! They are Confined.

I went to Yi after the astrology chart returned the answer that the cards are still at home, in a place that is deep, low, maybe watery (Pisces rules the 4th house, the home). The logical, mind-boggling answer is the bottom of the freezer, or near a mirror. (There's a close trine to Venus in the 1st house: beauty, in the sign of ice, Scorpio.)

If the improbable answer isn't the one, the impossible answer must be it, according to Sherlock Holmes. The impossible answer didn't work either.

When interpreting Yi, I've seen it recommended to enter the Image.
"Lake without water." Drought has emptied my pond, but they aren't in the pond. That wouldn't have been a safe place anyway.

A sink? Underneath the sinks are cleaning supplies. I checked anyway. Still just holding cleaning supplies.

Is there a more metaphoric way to do this?

In the dark recesses of your mind you'll find the answer.
I do this short meditation....I go to the library.
I ask the assistant for a book on the information I'm seeking.
She pulls the book off the shelf and gives it to me.
I open the book and there's the answer.
