Which incense to use ?

Hi,
I'd like to use an incense to get some atmosphere/mood
when casting the coins. Are there any recommended
incenses, or any not to use ?

That's an intriguing question for me - I've taken delight in real essential oils for years. (Not so much in incense - I don't like the smoke!) Creating a blend for divination is beyond my knowhow. But sandalwood comes to mind for roots reaching downward/inward, and maybe frankincense for reaching upward. You could use them alone, or together.

If you put them together, you might want a third element to bridge the centre. Lavender? Rose geranium?

Hm, not at all sure what all this would smell like together! Powerful, I should think - a one-drop-at-a-time blend.

There's also an essential oil of yarrow - which has associations with divination and clairvoyance in Europe, too - but I've never tried it.
