Hello Forum,

I would like to ask you about your thoughts on this reading. Hex. 11 to 28 is an interesting picture and I am trying to see how 11 and 28 relate to each other through these lines.

I got this reading when asking "what is the real situation between us (objectively)". I asked the Yi to let me know this so I could ponder about the situation.

I appreciate your comments. :bows: Thank you!

Not much to say but at a first glance I read, delicate equilibrium or an excessive need/effort for balance. Interesting combination : peace(11) & tension (28).

Looks like a close bond exists between you, one of mutual trust and sincerity.

I'm not sure this actually exists ? I mean theres the relationship from As point of view and theres the relationship from Bs point of view but there is no objective view is there ? How can there be it doesn't exist anywhere else outside themselves ?

I can't say it any clearer  How can there be a 'real relationship between us objectively' ? You speak as if the relationship were as separate thing outside the people who have it.
Where would it be outside of the heads of those who have it ? I suppose if your talking about situational roles like 'he is my judo teacher' or she is my yoga teacher' etc etc thats kind of objective in the worlds eyes as to what is the relation between 2 people but thats usually pretty self evident so i didn't think you could be asking about that.

I can't really get a grip on what you were asking. If I'm friends with John and we fall out is there a 'real situation' between us objectively ? If so in whose eyes lol. Theres the reality of the relationship from Johns point of view, theres the reality of the situation from my point of view. Is there any 'objective' reality there ? I don't think so.

Oh... I see! Again it is my way of asking what is confusing... I see what you mean. Well, my "objectively" remark was more for myself than for the question. Asking for a description of the current situation between two people that I can see "objectively" (not what I wanted to see, not what I don't wanted to see, but what it is for real). The objectively part was me imploring to see the answer clearly actually. The feeling was quite present when I made the question, but I didn't present it clearly when I posted the reading here. The real question would be "what is the situation between us" -the "real" and the "objectively" were just part of my own struggle. Well,... I had one of those weeks... What can I say,... I think (I hope) I am calming down now. Thank you for your response.

Willowfox, may I ask you how do you read 28 here ?

The reason for asking this is because I have associate 28 with overwhelming situations. The overflowing lake's water can cause damage to the nearby enviroment but they also nurish the dry land and make it fertile.

so, my question ( to wollowfox or everyone ) is which is the "positive" side of 28 , apart from the advice (maybe) "calm down"

I think one most knows oneself in crisis. In extreme sitautions part of it is often having to face it alone, there isn't support, just you and it. Should be lonley but strangley somehow it isn't as you are most with yourself, really present. I like this from Wilhelms Image "Thus the superior man, when he stands alone, Is unconcerned. And if he has to renounce the world, He is undaunted" My experience with 28 is one is not usually weak or feeling weak inwardly. Theres a feeling of concentration, intensity, courage, survival. I used to think one might be crushed in 28 now i just see it as one living at an extremity, being sharply aware. Can be quite an inwardly heroic time

The only person who seems to be in a "crisis" is samgirl, she seems to be very on edge lately and that is probably the reason that she asked the question about the relationship. Life has become too heavy for her, so she needs to sort herself out but I see no major problem here as it seems that it will all get sorted out in the end.

Yep, I'm a bit edgy lately... but it's a good edge though. Life is not really heavy but very intense. Sorry for bombaring you with so many questions this week... it has been really helpful though.

Yes, Trojan. I agree that in crisis we learn things about ourselves , abilities , qualities or negative things that in a "quite" situation we can't see.

And I like the rest you say about courage, survival and heroic time.
Thanks :)
