What is your experience with line 11.1?
I asked when is he going to contact me (no communication yet) and I received 11.1> 46

I read in james Dekorne:
This line changes the hexagram to number forty-six, Pushing Upward, another image of growth with a corresponding line which further reinforces the idea of upward progress: "Advancing upward with the welcome of those above him..." "Grass roots" are a foundation, source or essence, as in “grass roots support” in a political campaign. To "uproot" is to remove from a fixed or entrenched position. "Other stalks" are analogous elements -- "fellow travelers." The image suggests the positive alteration of a heretofore static situation.

I am not sure about the answer. I hope this means that our static situataion without communication is going to change soon.

I hope so too! Perhaps you are being told there are many factors that must come together or issues that need to be untangled first - or maybe that you will hear from him when you are at 11.Peace about the whole thing.

I was looking some threads and I found one where hilary writes that 11.1 is the pair of 12.6.

Hi, I received this line regarding communication with a friend. There was something blocking our communication-- some things going on her life, which needed to be uprooted, before we could move forward and talk. Sometimes, in my experience, the uprooting is about a knotty problem.

Since this is a predictive question, I'd use Wen Wang Gua to read it

Using WWG, he would contact you in either the next year/month/day Chou (linked to the Chinese astrological sign Ox) or the next year/month/day of Si (linked to the Chinese astrological sign of Serpent)

Next year of the Ox: 2021
Next month of the Ox: from December 29, 2016 to January 27th, 2017
Next days of the Ox: April 25, May 7, May 19, May 31,

Next year of the Serpent: 2025
Next month of the Serpent: from May 7th to June 4th, 2016

I'm more inclined to say it would be in this month month of the Serpent.

Yes, we had communication. First I let go and didn't worry about it. Then it came back.

Well, this is very interesting and helpful.

In hex 11 the line representing communication is Si (fire) [ that's why I said one option was to take Si as the year/month/day when communcation would happen]; but it is hidden. So, one needs to check if/when it can come out of hide. Active line 1 is Zi (water), since water destroys fire, Si can't get out of hide unless/until Zi becomes ineffective. The general rule is that an active line becomes ineffective when the eartly branch of the day clashes or combines with the eartly branch of the active line [Zi combines with Chou and clashes with Wu; that's why I said Chou and Wu were also another options].

Well, today is Wei (earth) day. Earth destroys water. So, it seems that not only an earthly branch for tge day which clashes or combine with the eartly branch of the active line makes the line ineffective, but also any earthly branch of the day in the destructive cicle.

I need to check for this in older readings.
