35.1.2 to 38 - Is this person and his offer the best solution

About the internship: i sent an email to somebody and i would like to know if he would be the best tutor for that.

35.1 speaks about proceeding well because of his rejection
35.2 hmm it says i will go on but with worry..and it says it's lucky... perhaps it means that he will give me a contact for someone else
38 the opposition,maybe it means he says he can't or its a too different area feom the one i should do.
