I've asked about the potential of a relationship with this... much younger guy :D
and got hex 35, all lines changing except line 5, resulting in hex 11.

Am I to read all the changing lines and/or to pay attention to the one not changing?
Any ideas re the reading?

Thanks everyone!

Why are you worrying? The two guas says that you are both compatible and you ought to go ahead with trying to get something going. Age differences are good, not bad. People who are very close in age often suffer from the same generational problems, and some generations are simply disastrous. So, age differences are good, not bad.

Six in the second place means:
Progressing, but in sorrow.
Perseverance brings good fortune.
Then one obtains great happiness from one’s ancestress.

that's the line you want to read

That's what common sense says. I just though I could consult the IC as well.
Thanks for the encouragement, though. :)

As in, I'm the ancestress that brings happiness? ;)
But, what is it that should make that particular line more prominent than the rest of them?
And does the one unchangning line carry any weight?

Not really, I was just wondering why that particular one was singled out.

Reminds me of Moses in the bulrushes and Pharaoh's daughter. Egypt is in the news. So, yes, the relationship is auspicious. The lines change like the waters of the Nile :) But the hexagrams are solid ground, so I look at them first for bearings and then check how the currents flow.
