At the beginning they uselessly took a long time, but there was still hope to receive comfortable information, then doctors switched and they found out the worst.how is this health matter going and what can I do? 5.2.3
It would be really helpful if you also wrote the resulting hexagram.
how is this health matter going and what can I do? 5.2.3 > 3
It sounds like an unpleasant situation. You'll have discomfort because of it. You really need to do something to avoid "being stuck in the mud". It will take quite some time to resolve. Sorry to hear you have something so unpleasant going on...
Please don't worry at all for feeling worried. In my experience, feeling optimistic or feeling pessimistic has zero effect on most health issues. You can take action by avoiding the "mud" - what could mud mean in your case? You don't have to write this here, as this might be too personal information. Just something for you to think about.
They diagnosed the worst possible after first less shocking but wrong diagnosis...I'm seeing these hexagrams as saying you need to find "helpers" (hexagram 3) which I think in this case could mean doctors or just sound medical advice.
5.2.3 Makes me think you have not yet found the right help. Maybe you've talked to some people who have some ideas (5.2) but maybe these ideas haven't really solved the issue and maybe 5.3 is advising to not stay stuck with advisers who aren't helpful or perhaps it's that you need to be more active in the healing process.
I'm speculating that your condition is fairly recent, perhaps not fully diagnosed and that you must not wait around for treatments to be effective if you can already tell they are not working. The Difficulty only lasts for the Beginning so I think you can be optimistic that ultimately the confusion gets sorted out and things improve. Hope so!
Not all cancers are treatable. The type of cancer was sadly one malignant, initially the doctors wasted time and it went on metastasis (i guess) because after surgery it made also a relapse here and there and now it can't be operated again. No healing occurred and if the casting was about that as said at the beginning then it was giving fake hopes.Nowadays most cancers are treatable. In very many cases, fully treatable. I can totally understand you're in shock because of the bad news, and I'm really sorry that this happened to you. I send you my best wishes CheersC, I so hope that with patience you'll be healthy again.
Hey. If it wasn't about waiting, it was about hoping which was useless anyways.Hi CheersC,
sorry to read that!
Hexagram 5 is not also waiting, but hoping - as if you asked: is there hope (5) of recovery (3)? As I would read the hexagram 3, sprouting, as a waiting or a hope for a new spring to come. Or, as it is spring, more literally: "Waiting in spring".
Line 5.2 is auspicious. Things will go well, just take their time. Line 5.3, though, also says something like: "what are you waiting for?".
Wish you the very, very best.
Good point Rosada. When CheersC asked her question she didn't know what the diagnosis was yet. At least that's how I understood her. So when she got Waiting I didn't interpret as the I Ching was telling her how to ultimately handle the illness but rather just how to handle the waiting for the diagnosis.
