55 to 5, what to expect?

Hi all,

Asking about a relationship that is not working the way I expected (I was hoping for more interest and effort from him), I received hexagram 55 to 5.

What I read is there is an exceed of worrying on my side, I should be patience and wait cause there is still the possibility for him to react the way i´d like.

Is that reading ok? Am I missing something?

I agree with your reading. One of the things people seem to miss about 55 is how when you reach it - and you reach it at line 1 - that’s it, you are at the top already, and the following lines are all about what to do next and where do we go from here? So to answer your question it does seem this hexagram is saying you’ve gone as far as you can go for the moment so no need to try to push for more. Meanwhile 5.,”Eat, drink and be of good cheer.”

I notice you didn’t include the line you got. Are you intentionally not reading the individual lines? That’s fine - whatever works for you! - but if you want people to comment on the lines you will probably get more responses if you post them..

Yes, I didn´t include the lines. Normally, when I get three lines changing I just read the Zhi Gua amd Ben Gua, as I´ve been tought to do so.
