I help a couple of older people in their homes. It is substitute, on-call work, and I have worked there less then a month.

One client is about 60, has a rare illness, and also seems mentally ill (although that's not what I'm there to help her with). She has a very difficult personality, an obsessive germ phobic, and probably some sort of obsessive compulsive personality disorder.

Today I got a call from my boss. The woman had called her to complain that a bottle of perfume went missing while I was there.

So I consulted the i ching a very open ended "client and her missing perfume".

It appears to me like the i ching is telling me I shouldn't do anything about it right now, and that possibly this will get cleared up on its own. The truth will prevail, is what it seems to be saying.

Then I asked if I will still get called to work at other clients homes, after this.

This makes me wonder if I need to get "a following", whatever that means.

Client and her missing perfume?

The Image suggests that you maintain a professional bearing. If the client has been ill for some time it is likely that she has a history of making such accusations against helpers. If this is the case it would be to your advantage to know it and to discuss it with your boss because your future employment depend's on your being trusted. The bottle of perfume may not be missing at all. Many elderly resent needing help and do things to torment those sent to help them. From line 3. I think it best that you do not return to this client unless you are sure that your boss understands the situation.

Your moving lines are both positive and so I think you can relax, as you will not lose your job over the bottle of perfume.
