Hello all,

A colleague and I have some unspoken dislikes for one another. He has tried sneaky ways to make me look stupid and unworthy in the company. I've tried to ignore his acts but it is someone I have to deal with on a day to day basis.

Hence, I asked Yi, " How should I go about in dealing with this person?"
Hex 21.4.5>42

I see these moving lines as a call for EQ-strategy.

Does anyone has an experience with these moving lines? Or thoughts to share?

Would Love to hear some comments.
:bows:
Thanks!

It's about getting to the bottom of things, and exposing them so you can deal with them efficiently.

Seriously, you both need to talk this through. But first, you must investigate and find out the root of this.

Hey Tifa,

I don't think continuing to ignore him is gonna do much good - get up close an personal next time he tries any bs, query it but maybe in front of a supervisor or something. Like gnar says you gotta get to the root of it somehow and only then will it get sorted. What's his probs with you exactly? Liss

Hello Gnar and Liss,

Thank you for the input.

As it is an unspoken dislike, it is mostly due to jealousy. As I am kind of a newbie in the company, I have made quite smooth development at work. However, smooth development often leads to two things. Favoritism from the boss and jealousy from colleagues who are trying hard to gain fame.

His problem is .... I think...he is jealous. He has been trying hard to gain fame but with no much luck.

I am very tempted to knock on his office door and ask him wth is his problem. His smirky behavior and constant interference with my work. I believe his act of interference is to impress my boss that he knows everything....

I'm still a little nervous about having a "chat" with this colleague regarding his manner towards me.

Exactly what my friend is going through. It has gotten worse for her, as the usurper has rallied the people around against her.

She's in a very uncomfortable situation now, leaving her superiors to assign her somewhere so she doesn't have to report to the office often.

It's crazy how people can go like this. She came from a good company, resigned to live a more quiet life, and applied in this job she's in now. But by the gods she's in this mess due to jealous people who just can't handle her productivity.

She has brought in sales twice as many and above her quota every month. I just find this kind of office behavior disturbing. Almost like it's evil at work, you know.

Damn, I feel sorry for her.
