battle of the psychics and Yi!

Hi all,
I have a group of friends who are all psychics (yes yikes! one can hardly finish a sentence!) One of them, Psychic 1, few years ago made a prediction (x) long time ago. About two weeks ago we were chatting and he said, by the way, part of x is in process right now. It will take some more time, but x is happening. So I said, really? But it is taking very long. You really think it is going to happen? He said yes, but it is a process. He is pretty good at his work, but somehow I doubted him because he had predicted it so long ago, and it hadn't happened.

A few days later, I was talking to another one of our little group, and I had an idea ... what if do a little experiment and ask each of them about x and then ask Yi what Yi's says! -P) I thought this is a great opportunity to address Yi's ability to predict. So I got a hold of Psychic 2 who said x has already happened. I didn't tell him what Psychic 1 said. I just said, really? are you sure it is happening right now? He said Yes. I said hmmmm, ok.

Yesterday Psychic 3 and I spoke on the phone. So I said, hey, is x happening? She said, no way ... x is not happening now and will not happen.

So tonight I casted and asked Yi the question is so and so's prediction right? I am posting what Yi said in the order that I asked.

When I asked about Psychic 2

I got: 4.1>41

I wondered about this one... because I did ask Psychic 2 about this once before about a month ago. I wondered when I saw the cast: did he get irritated by me asking him for a second time? Is this Yi saying, hey, don't tick him off. You asked him once (4), ... don't take it so lightly and don't make him punish you (1).

Then, I brought it back to the original question and thought ... maybe what Yi is saying, part of the prediction is correct and part of it isn't. As in, like his skills are in development (hex 4) and the prediction is somewhere in between - partly right and partly wrong (between carelessness and discipline).

So I asked about Psychic 3:

I got Hex 28 uc

When I first thought about it, I wondered if Yi could be saying either of two things...I was biased and was wanting to disbelieve 3 because I preferred 1 and 2 or was saying I didn't believe Psychic 3's prediction because 1 and 2 were more in agreement.

Then I began to think on it further, and I began to think that something about the prediction may have been like the weak beam in 28. That the prediction that x was not going to happen was somehow inherently flawed or was based on some sort of assumption. Or could it be that 28 uc was a flat NO and saying Psychic 3 was incorrect?

Finally, I asked about Psychic 1

I got 42.5.6>24

This was really interesting to me as 42 also has the line directly about divination in line 2.

When I first read it, I thought wow 42 increase. Must be right. Then I looked at the second hex and it was 24...wow, I thought, return. Part of the prediction has something to do with returning or a return to something. So that seemed really to be saying that Psychic 3's thought was right. So I began reviewing the changing lines. I always have to research all the lines in 42 to get the gist. After looking at these lines, I wondered at first if he was the line 5 and I was the ungratefulness feel of 6 because I doubted him. I have not ever really fully gotten the gist of 42 because I don't receive it a lot.

When I reviewed it again to look at only the question of is Psychic 1's prediction right? I could only come up with this:

Seems to be saying he was being sincere ... could that mean that he really believes what he is saying or is a true source.

Then I wondered ...is it saying that his prediction is biased because he and I are good friends? Or, is it saying that the prediction was coming from the right place (his heart, his gifts??)...

Line 6 for me is a bit of headscratcher. Maybe it is obvious to someone else, but I kept wondering if it was saying...the guy means well, but still yet, he is wrong.

So any comments or insights into the battle of the psychics and Yi? I would love it if Yi predicted their predictions!

It might depend on exactly what your question was and what everyone thought they were predicting...I mean, this thing is sort of in a gray area right now, isn't it? It's begun, but not finished yet, and will take a while longer (after the very long while it's already taken). So did the psychics think they were predicting the start of "x" (which I gather is still a significant event), or the completion of it?

These psychics sound like Shared Readings interpretations. I don't disregard that true psychics exist any more than that the Yi CAN foretell future events. The difference is that the Yi seems to speak more to the dreamer than to the dream, and treats the organic process with more respect, being careful not to trod it underfoot, and as well treating our free will with equal respect, which may not always change what will inevitably come to pass, but which will always provide a past from which to learn.

Great question.

The first psychic had predicted that x event will take place. Then, the same psychic said x is event is already beginning to take place. This is to say...some of the steps for the x had already been executed, like as in a wedding or another transition or transformation, things can actually be in process until said wedding or final transformation takes place.

The other two psychics then commented on the original premise that x event will take place.

I thought it would be interested if Yi could predict in advance which of the predictions was actually right. So the question for each psychic was: is 1, 2, 3's prediction correct.

I thought it may lend insight into Yi.

Glad to see you here!

My experience of them all is that they are very genuine and authentic people who are surprisingly tapped in. What I have noticed is that Yi is very much like a psychic in that psychics have filters and so does Yi. For example, a psychic is sometimes limited by their biases. So for example, in India where I have spent a lot of time, you may have an astrologer (like as in the Magi) who is very accurate in predicting events, but if you were to ask him (mostly him's) something about an arranged marriage for example, he would say this is a good match between x and y, but that really is culturally bound. If he determines a match is a good one, it is wise to find out why. Many generally believe that a good marriage is one that lasts or is expected to be very prosperous in Indian culture, even if it may not be a happy one.

Yi, for example, has a bias about romantic love.

The best thing about Yi is that it is very good at describing what is, without bias, without emotion, so has less fallibility.
