Big Decision

Hi Friends!

Really could use your help!

I am in my 50s, live in central texas, and am trying to make a big decision about my home and an adjacent lot (potentially investment) property. I own both at present. I feel blessed to have arrived here before housing prices went soaring.

I have been trying to configure plans to both develop and live here (with hopefully some ongoing income from the overall project.)
I have been diligently consulting the i ching along the way with not too many auspicious readings to be honest. Ugh.

The most recent site plan I fancied received Hexagram 28 with changing lines 1, 2, 3 and finally becoming Hexagram 17
[28.1.2.3>17] The third changing line has me a bit spooked. LOTS of caution urged from the texts I've read. Even DANGER!
fyi: I will say this plan is quite involved and would require several years to complete. Done right, though, it could provide me a place to live and something modest to sustain me each month, (if I live, hahaha)

In contrast, I have considered selling both properties and moving on. Maybe get an apt and set aside a nice nest egg from the sale. In consulting the i ching, that plan received Hexagram 27 (Nourishment) with no moving lines. It would be a HUGE change to leave where I have lived for almost 20 years, but who knows, maybe it's what called for. Scares me though.

I have been agonizing a bunch in the last 6 months and feel I am near a time where I have to decide on a direction.

What are your thoughts on this situation and these particular hexagrams/lines?

I noticed I haven't received any feedback on my request for help with this reading. I hope i didn't offend anyone or break the rules of the community. If I did, I sincerely apologize.

I am not very good in interpreting multiple readings at once, also I am thinking that results start to get more and more meaningless and confusing, the more often you ask on one matter.
The fact that you received more or less unfortunate results, as you wrote, gives me the feeling that it is not the best of all times for great plans right now. I'll try 28.1.2.3, which seems to be confirming regarding this.

In my opinion with 28.2 there seems indeed to be a great potential for growth, but you must be very careful especially at the beginning of your enterprises. The warning of 28.3 seems to be connected to the advice of 28.1 --> it suggests that you tend to rush ahead and therefore I think there is indeed a danger that you'll have difficulties to follow the advice of 28.1 with your current mindset.
The related hexagram 17 also advices you to go with the flow.
