I had to use a hire car recently while my car was getting repaired. There was a $200 Bond which has been released to my account according to the paperwork from the hire company.
It has been a week now and it is still not back in my account.
I have given it 5 business days which is the norm.

What do I need to know about the delay in the return of the bond 40.4> 7
I can only get that yes it's been released to me.

What is the possibility I will have to intervene to get the money back
Hex 53>41
Not sure about the Decrease although Hex 53 looks like it's going through a process.

Perhaps you need to talk to someone again at the car company or the bank? 40.4 from Hilary's translation "Sending the message swiftly brings rejoicing" and 7 could be about taking charge/constancy by asking for status updates.
(Edited to add: whoops! Looking at the wrong hex on the wrong page apparently.)

What was the changing line in 53? Was it 53.2? I'm not sure how I'd apply that one to this situation.

Hilary's translation doesn't say that for 40.4 it says that for 41.4.

40.4 says, Hilary's translation

'Releasing the thumbs also.
Partners arrive, hence truth and confidence.'

In your shoes I'd just ring them - but anyway generally this is to do with getting out of your own way so I could take it if you forget about it it will be there soon enough.

You know the saying 'I'm all fingers and thumbs' where someone is grappling with something and kind of interfering with whatever it is working out. Yi says let go - just let it go...so whether you call them or wait the idea is you aren't hanging on.

53>41 the change lines are...? 53.1.2.3.5>41 well 53 is the need to go slow through all the right procedures, typical bureaucracy, you probably don't need to contact them it's just slow with incompetence in line 3 overcome in line 5. Note the change patterns here are 5 and 35

Thanks Trojina....thought as much. It's with a building society who are renowned for holding on as long as they can before refunding.

I did call them today. They confirmed it should be refunded within 3 days but I told them it's been over a week. They put a case file on it which will take another 3 days!

I got an email from them that made no sense to me.
I went into my bank to get an explanation
It turns out they don't actually take any money they just do a transaction that holds the money in my account in case they need to draw on it if there is any need when one returns the car.
So in the bigger picture no actual refund - bloody hell I wish they explained that to me at the time.

I pushed the like button on the last post before reading this one. Anyway, I hope it ends well. What a mess!

It's kind of an interesting one this since it seems 40.4 was 'uncomplicate this', 'get your thumbs out of the knitting' and such

It turns out they don't actually take any money they just do a transaction that holds the money in my account in case they need to draw on it if there is any need when one returns the car.
So you didn't lose any money it's just they never actually took any money in the first place they just 'held' it for a time? Is that right?

It also shows it's best if you have ways of checking facts check them before asking Yi but it's an interesting one for 40.4.

Also it can be no coincidence you also got 40.4 within two days for an entirely different matter

It would've been good to know the facts definitely. When I returned the car the rep said the money will be back in your account within 3 days so that's what I expected, naturally.
I did recall AFTER I spoke to the bank that there was extra money in my account in the intervening period.

At first I didn't understand the coincidence of the 2 readings but now I do.
