I am sharing this as an example of how our biases can colour how we read castings. There is no absolute truth, the casts can often be read in opposite ways! It all comes down to what the casting says to us, individually.

So. I dutifully got the first 3 shots of Pfizer vaccine last year. The 3rd shot of vaccine made me really unwell, I was feverish, teeth chattering, nauseous, headachy etc…for over 3 days. I am not keen to go through that again. Then I promptly caught Omicron BA2, 3 months later, with to be fair, barely a sniffle. Whether that can be credited to being vaccinated with a Delta based vaccine or to Omicron BA2 being a mild variant is debatable.

Now I wonder: should I get the latest Omicron booster or not? Will it give me additional protection against the next variant given that 1) I am triple vaccinated, 2) I have already caught Omicron 3) the current Omicron based booster may not even work against whatever next variant comes up this winter, and 4) I have been getting increasingly severe side effects from the vaccine with each dose. I happen to be a vaccine professional, and generally in favour of vaccination. But in this instance, and in my personal case, the questioning is legitimate, even from a medical standpoint. I asked the Yi:

1) what if I get the Omicron booster? 10.3.6>43
2) what if I don’t get the omicron booster? 12.2.6>47.

I read 10.3.6>43 as: proceed with caution, 3. being foolhardy could land you in trouble 6. Look back at your experience think it over >43 then act resolutely. Bear in mind this is about taking the vaccine, so one way to read this is that, given my track record, next time, the side effects could make me even sicker, it would be prudent to cease and desist. But it could also be read as: don’t be a fool, take the vaccine, if you catch the virus misfortune. 6. Advises to look at my experience - the vaccine has made me sicker with each dose, while the virus has become milder with each variant… Depending on the interpretation, acting resolutely could be either make up your mind NOT to take the vaccine, or to take it.

Not taking the vaccine? 12.2.6>47. I read it as avoid quick fixes, 2. Just say no, you don’t need this. 6. Before there was misery, after there is good fortune. Maybe the Covid severity is over, it’s now graduating to a mild winter cold? Or maybe I am immune enough that it will not harm me? >47 would be the context of being utterly fed up with the whole Covid business, the shots, the virus, ready to move on - and take my chances. Overall, I feel that this cast is a more auspicious one.

I will eventually decide based on the severity of whatever variant is circulating this winter. But this is such an interesting example of how our attitude can change the same reading:)

I think you have this right, don't get it. You're obstructed by the fact that it makes you sicker every time. A small person accepts not being able to do anything about obstructions. A great person doesn't like the obstruction and fights it.

But if I understand from Hilary's commentary how the line works, the small/great distinction comes before the decision of what to do. You are a small person here, so you'll have to accept that you're someone who can't get it. You're not a great person - your system will react how it reacts; there's nothing you can do about it.

Personally I didn't feel comfortable getting any the boosters because I haven't used Western medicine, except painkillers and antibiotics very rarely, in over 25 years.
I also have epstein-barr virus, EBV, and felt a bit concerned about the effect the vaccine may have on my body.
As far as I know I haven't had Covid but sometimes struggle with reactivated EBV which is usually stress-related.
My son had all vaccinations and ended up in hospital when he got Covid. A close friend of mine also got all the vaccinations and became extremely unwell when she got Covid. Other people it doesn't seem to affect it all.
I'm not anti vax, I just felt it wasn't right for me. Lots of people I know also had a severe reaction when they had the third vax and many of them have opted out of following through with any more vaccinations.
It sounds like you have a clear understanding of your readings.

Thank you Liselle and OnTheRoad for your comments,
Liselle, I had no idea that 12.2 was associated with the time before making a decision. Interesting. Although I would probably identify with the great person who steps back willingly from an unrewarding offer, something the small person cannot do (Fear of Missing Out?).
OnTheRoad, I too just feel into the situation and decide if it feels right for me or not. It felt right for the first 3 shots, and in hindsight I am so glad I got them! My mother had a stroke during lockdown, and it took at least one worry off my mind to know that between the shots and the other precautions, I had less chance of contaminating her. But it doesn’t feel right now. And who knows? Maybe it will feel right again at a later point? I reserve the right to feel into things as needed - as do you:)
