Coin connundrum...

I have recently acquired a set of 10 Chinese coins. As a part of my process, I randomly select three from the ten for the reading. I make a note of the particular coins in use but have no idea if there is any further relevance (I became interested since last night I chose three coins with chronological circulation dates).

Question: Does anyone know of any individual significance of the 10 coins and how they might relate/give more clarity to a reading?
