Ah Charly, I found it. ( And now not sure if you got a reply telling you I couldn't find it !!) Anyway, thank you. And thank you also for your positive view of this 'unmarriagable maiden' who is me and who scares me a bit...or has in the past. She gets carried away with herself and is slightly insane. But her power dwindles the more I keep my eye on her ! She's taken centre stage most of my life and is now getting to the stage where younger wiser girls have taken on the lead roles..she doesn't like it and she's SO GOOD at struggling back into the limelight. She needs to be put into one of those homes for has-beens, aging has-beens. A lovely home which she likes with lovely friends around her.
And doesn't this sound sentimental ! Well it is ! It's just that I really am grateful for all the ways she's tried to keep me real and safe.
But I don't want her around any more. She can come to stay now and then when I have to deal with say, a classroom full of teenagers !
Now I'm being flippant and I don't mean to.
So enough to say the me that was her is now on her last legs and needs to be respectfully, and with great love and care and gratitude, made redundant.
