Situation's background:
two people who have (or haven't ?) been trying to become a couple in the last two months
Female is six years older than the male. Both are over 25 y.o.
First, there has been a lack of communication between them and many insecurities on both sides.
Also lots of misunderstandings, since they have very different life experiences
(female has been in serious relationships, male hasn't)
Lately the female decided to cut off all communication, since she wasn't getting the attention / affection she wanted from the male. The male hasn't communicated either since then.
Female asked two questions:

First Question - received 38 UC
I miss him and I would like to know if I made the right choice not contacting him, until he gets his act together

Second Question - received 53 UC
Since I have deep feelings for this man, I would like to know what our relationship potential is, if I stand my ground and remain firm

My personal interpretation is that yes, they share an amazing chemistry, but because of all their great differences it will be a difficult and bumpy road for both of them. (I also happen to know that both are very proud and stubborn people)
Other than that, not sure what else exactly 38 and 53 combined wanted to tell us.
I have also read that the image of an older woman exists in hex 53.

For the first question, I would say that the hexagram 38 unchanged is portraying the current situation (opposition). Does not really answer if she made the right choice or not because that really depends on her, is she happier now (?). For the second question, hexagram 53 unchanged is a really good hexagram for a relationship, I think there is potential, looking at the triagrams you do have the mountain (firmness) within but you also have wind (gentleness) without... so it's good to stand her ground but not to the point where she can't be flexible to her environment and to him. Good luck.
