Hi

There is an actual court yard for starters,

Line 1 If the servant is not discreet he loses his life

Line 2 anxious hesitation is a mistake, (timing)

Even the hexagram 8 meaning BI or two,

I think this clarifies this for me, maybe good to hear from others for the future reference as you can see in this reading you have some serious decisions to make. You need to make them at the correct time. It goes to show how crucial that can be.

I just saw on your other thread what happened. I'm so sorry.

From Hilary's translation:

60.1
'Not going out of the door to the family rooms.
Not a mistake.'

60.2
'Not going out of the gate from the courtyard.
Pitfall.'

I had these two lines once, along with line 4, where my notes say I thought lines 1 and 2 meant a lot of running around back and forth, and yes, indecisiveness. (I intended to buy something at one store, then second-guessed myself and went to a different store, which didn't have the item at all, so then I had to go back to the first store.)

So yes, did they like to chase each other around? Hexagram 8, Seeking Union, bonding, the two of them together. The oracle section concludes, "Not at rest, coming on all sides. For the latecomer, pitfall." I wonder if it could mean traffic coming from all sides? Not sure about that. But the kitties couldn't get out of the way. As you said, timing.

It sounds as if the environment there is just really, really difficult for the safety of cats, much moreso than it would be even where I live. There's only so much you can do. I'm not sure never letting cats outside is the best thing for them, either. Mine can't go out, and I feel bad for them. (We're on an upper floor of an apt. bldg.)

Try to remember that they were much better off and much happier than they would have been without you. You gave them a good home.

Hey
The animals here seem to survive ok, i see the same ones around, i should have been more protective. Maybe strays have an advantage and cats that only have themselves survive actually better as kittens anyway. If they had of lived longer they would have had the advantage being together.
Yes they did chase each other around constantly and that was what happened with there senses i think also being day, cats are sharper at night.
Yes i believe the lines now have given some clarity, there not the best of lines i think if you are decisive then you can avoid the pitfalls.
