Today is the first day of Mega Man's Battle Network's 20th anniversary, where the first game of the series came out, which didn't age well. The first game later had a remake in 2009 where only 15 minutes of Star Force content was included, which led to the network timeline of the network timeline coming to a close.
Protodude said that Star Force's 15th anniversary this coming December would only get a passing mention as Capcom is not accepting licensing deals for the series that was the Battle Network's successor. Capcom posted on Twitter to be patient. Protodude said that the COVID lead to production delays to different titles. The anniversary will run for the whole year, and I predicted that there would be a legacy collection by the end of the anniversary.
