Friendship 33.2.4 to 57

Dear all,
About a year ago I parted ways with a friend because she acted very rude and unsensical when I was beith throgh a rough patch with my ex-boyfriend. She wasn´t supportive at all in a moment I was feeling really bad so, after a few arguments, we parted ways.
The thing is that despite all, I haven´t been able to forget about her and sometimes even wish that we had another opportunity, but definitely she should be the one appraching to me, as, in my opinion, she was the one who didnt behave.
I didn´t have a concrete question in mind but with all these thoughts in my head and wondering "Can you tell me anything about X in relation to me?". I casted the coins and got 33.2.4. which I found a little bit contradictory.

I think Line 2 means that there is still some kind of mental conection in between us and there is also possible that we could meet and talk again???

While I think Line 4 says I did well parting ways and she is the one loosing a real friend.

What do you think?

I'm tempted to start with the relating hexagram because it's usually "your" hexagram in readings. It strikes me as what you're doing...wanting to get a handle on the relationship, but of necessity having to do that in a 57 way.

The problem is, 57 isn't 21, it can't chew and gnaw its way through to get to the bottom of things. Imagine wind wearing down rock. It can do that, but it takes a long, long time and you can't see it happening or control it.

33 is probably more objective reality. Withdrawal - it's what's factually happened, isn't it? So Yi is corroborating that. 33's about withdrawing in order not to get eaten (there's a little piglet in the imagery who's after some self-preservation). And someone here once said 33 is about finding the right amount of withdrawal.

The rest of this is just guessing: obviously I don't know how the moving lines describe your friend. But I wonder if 33.2 could mean she, maybe both of you, are still too attached to hurt feelings and bad memories of how things ended to be able to do anything better than keep your distance now?

33.4 - Yi describes this as retreating for loving reasons. I don't know if that's thoughts in her mind, or more Yi saying retreat is the only way not to hurt each other more. Love meaning at least the absence of strife? (I'm guessing, remember.)

Whether there's any hope - I imagine not now. Maybe in the future. 33 is strategic retreat, not giving up entirely. And 57 has effects, just slow and subtle ones. Maybe the cowhide will loosen up in time.

Thanks, @Liselle, I guess I still miss her I wanted to know if there was still something to rescue in our relation. Your last words give me some hope.It´s been a year already since we don´t see each other but it´s nice to think that there is a "not giving up" definitive.

I read it as your bound isn't something that easily gets loose (33.2), but you need to take distance at this time through respect (33.4) and feel the situation out little by little. Just don't rush into things.
