Protodude said that for Star Force and Legends to be viable, they need products to prove to Capcom that there is an audience for sequels to happen. Cult followings aren't enough. Ten years ago, Capcom announced Legends 3 but canceled it the following year. The fans were angry with the decision that it was trending in Japan, and the game was viable at the time. Capcom released the Zero/ZX legacy collection but still hasn't reported the sale numbers.
