Future of our relationship

Me and my fiance recently broke up and I asked the question (what role wil x play in my future) and the answer was 53 changing to 31 can someone shed some light on this.

Line 53.4 does not indicate a relationship that gets better and better, it indicates separation and barrenness.

x is my fiance. So what does the 6 at the top mean and what does the next hexagram 31 mean. I need to know before I just give up on her completely.

Look to Hex 31 which is all about beginning again after your separation but like any new growth expect it to be quite a struggle.

Hi a1real,

I think I feel the same way as Ginnie. Looking at Line 4, though it sounds dismal coz goose don't exactly roost on trees and branches, there is a line of hope if the goose is able to find a flat branch. All is not lost as yet.

And then Line 6. Sounds very very positive indeed. And since Hex 53 is one of the few hex in the Iching that represents marriage, yup, things might make a turn around.

But, I would say, IMHO, I'd go further to ask "How I should proceed with regards to my fiance now" or something along those lines if you really want to know what you should do now.
