Hex 21 +4 => 27 and Hex 11

Hi all,

My wife left me and our one year old son last week. When we established contact, I sent her a message to ask her to come back home as I have found a job for her etc,... I asked the Yi how my message would be received. I got 21 +4 => 27

Last night my wife replied that she would not come back. How do I intepret line 4 in the light of what happened?

This morning, I asked the Yi to comment on the future, I got Hex 11 with no changing line. This seems so contradicting.

Any help would be appreciated

I take it you're viewing this response in terms of your situation with your wife and child. No doubt it feels sad and unfortunate, but perhaps the reading is not so contradictory if you think about it for a while...

Hex 21.4 You are up against a powerful enemy, her mother ( I told you this in your last question but you said no, now you see it again). Well, at the moment your wife is not listening to you, she is under her mother's spell. The only thing for you to do is to keep persevering until you win.

Hex 27 is about providing your wife with nourishment, food for thought as well as body. She needs to hear the right things to feed her mind that being with you will lead to a more positive life than being around her mother.

Jeff, I am still thinking about your very short comment. Not too sure if I got it

Willowfox, I think the in law is no longer a threat now (although the damage was clearly done by her). Now, the in law wants my wife back to me because they want me to sponsor her son to study where I live. Ironically, this works for me.

Line 4 says something about biting an arrowhead. What is this arrowhead?
And Hex 11, is it possible that I would finally find peace and accept the loss? ( I still hope what you say is right, peace and harmony between my and my wife)

You're chewing on a very tough issue here, but you gain something of very real value here; it's advantageous to do what you think is right and this means good fortune. Then you have something eat.

Hex 11 means in the future you will have peace and harmony, it does not mention whether your wife comes with the deal because your question only mentioned a future.

But I still stand by what I said before, she will come back to you, for better or worse.

Dobro, now that I come to think of it. The Yi told me to get some nutrition so that my body can get through this difficult time. In fact, I got this hexagram at least three times recently.

Willowfox, I do hope you are right, all for my son's sake. Every child deserves to have a mother. I checked the Blofield's comment on line 4 of 21 and it said the situation looks gloomier than it is. Let's hope for just that

Modesty, glad you got some food in you. Worrying is quite understandable, but take care not to obsess too much!

I was just suggesting that the 21.4 reading may have reflected your wife coming to a firm decision to not return (for the time being).

With 11, I was suggesting that the future was looking positive. This might be in a way you don't expect. It could refer to your wife regaining her "emotional strength" and returning or it could even refer to some other upcoming positive human element who will help alleviate the situation.

Hope that is clearer.
