Hexagram 35, Advancing

I asked what I could expect from a man I have been seeing for the last couple of weeks. Things have moved very quickly, we've spent a lot of time together and really enjoy one another's company. He is recovering from the suicide of his girlfriend (that happened a year and a half ago) but had made a lot of progress on that front. Last night, he abruptly broke off our relationship and I asked the question this afternoon.

The answer puzzles me.

It is puzzling but if you click here you can see other people's experiences with 35uc. There are threads like that for all the hexagrams.

I wonder if this answer is simply describes what's happened. You were received well, progress was made but where is it going ? I've seen Hilary say somewhere that 35uc can feel as if there's this sense of things moving forward but the question is where which is what you asked.

Perhaps you will have another opportunity to relate to him again. I mean you asked what you can expect, there's been much progress but he's broken it off. Did he give any reasons ?

I think I'd say currently, if it were my cast, I would expect to hear from him again. I might think the breakup was a bit of a blip. These days I find 35uc to often be showing me things are much better than I think.

Thank you both. I did read the 35uc thread as suggested and that helped a bit. Maybe I will hear from him but it seemed a pretty definitive end.
