Hexagram 48.2

Dear everyone, an acquaintance of mine is throwing a show. However, according to my best friend, this acquaintance has not been treating her well and she has stopped communicating/working with him. Essentially, this man took advantage of her under the guise of a mentor and left her feeling heartbroken, as she used to respect him so much up until his treatment of her. I became angry and thought of reaching him a lesson, but before I do that, I wanted to know if bad karma would get to him first. So I asked the I-Ching if no one would end up going to this show that he is throwing, because that would kill him financially and wreck his self-confidence. I received 48.2 to 39 as an answer. I can only surmise that this means, because he is not taking care of the well (well=community of those who once supported him, like my best friend), his career is stagnating? Any help would be appreciated before I step in and fight this guy. Thanks.

It also mentions something about a broken bucket and well water leaking from it...will he perhaps lose money from this show he is throwing?

It certainly sounds as if the show will not be successful. Whether or not this will actually prove to be the case, I would read these hexagrams as the I Ching advising you to assume the Universe can deal with this man and that you needn't step into assist.
