Thank you,I'm now feeling much clearer about the whole situation. I've also (by chance) just listened to a mp3 by Marianne Williamson ( A Course in Miracles) in which she talks about our collective neurosis when it comes to relationships,I also recommend Anthony de Mello who is a personal inspiration. In his Wake-up recording (one of only a few he allowed) he convincingly argues that we are never in "love" with a person,we are only in love with the pictures (illusions) we create in our minds,I won't go into detail here. You can find most if not all of his stuff here.
I'm no longer feeling pressured by the situation,it's fair to say I'm not at all worried if we become friends or not,we'll see. Looking back on the stuff I've written,I actually feel rather silly :O) I'm over it,phew !
Thanks again Ginnie, you've been very kind. I understand what you mean about abundance,I had no confusion about this being money or riches,I've just left a reasonably well paid and secure job,I'm earning half as much in this job. I'm not at all interested in being rich, was it Lao-Tzu that said "he who knows he has enough is rich" ? Something like that anyway. My only wonder was in what way i-ching was referring abundance to,I think you've made that clearer for me now. I'm excited about the future,I'm taking risks. I listened to tape by Wayne Dyer yesterday in which he gave this analogy. You're asleep and dreaming you have all this great stuff, everything is just fine, then you wake-up and all the stuff, perfect people and circumstances disappear. Would you start screaming that you want it all back ? Most of us wouldn't,but we do while we're awake. The reality is that nothing stays around for long. Draw a line that represents 8 hours sleep on a piece of paper, then draw a much, much longer line that represents 80 yrs of life. The two lines are obviously very different but when you add eternity to the beginning and end of both lines the contrast somewhat fades. Be here now - thank again - p1

I've just checked the torrent is dead on the link I provided - I can assure you it is out there, just use iso hunt. However the Awareness workshop is all on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y3Q7H2urto

I'd just like to clarify my position regards A Course in Miracles,I'm not particularly well read in it,and there's much that doesn't sit right with me at all,too much god, holy father, son of god etc. However, there is so much sensible and practical advice within its teachings that I would encourage anyone from any faith or non-faith to at least open their mind, even a little bit. Okay that's it,thanks again. Kind regards. P1 ;)

Well, yeah, the terminology of A Course of Miracles ... Unfortunately a lot of people cannot even read it because of that terminology.

It's really quite a profound teaching. Takes one year to complete the Workbook section, and I personally benefited from 'doing' the Course.

Hello once again - I've been listening (quite often whilst asleep) to ACIM,it really has helped me recently, some of the material is a little too deep for me,so I tend to balance the material with other slightly less intense stuff often found here http://www.audiodharma.org/teacher/1/
May I ask another question please ?? As I mentioned earlier on in this thread I left a very long term job just over a year ago,its a long story but to summarise I started a tribunal process against my previous employer, the tribunal is next month. The company I've paid to represent me have basically ripped me off,so I'm now facing the hearing with alone and nothing has been done it terms of getting my case prepared. I've decided to go thru with it even though my case is legally weak. I consulted i-ching and received 9 >3 59 (hope that's right ?). What do you think this might mean please ? Thanks again - p1

Can you recheck your answer as 9 changing line 3 goes to Hex 61?

As line 9.3 is quite unfortunate indicating that you will lose.

Thanks - this site I used gave hex9 with line 3 changing and then 59 for the future. Why would it do that and not just give a single hex ? Thanks in advance :)

Hex 9 lines 1 and 3 change to 59.

It still suggests that you will lose.

Okay thanks, not sure I follow to be honest. However,I'm this far thru and I'm aware that winning a constructive dismissal is extremely unlikely,I went into this with realistic expectations, winning wasn't my reason for bringing the case. So should I be disregarding hex 9 and concentrate on 59 instead ? The outcome isn't my concern,it's more a case of guidance either way. Thanks again.

So, if you don't want to win then what do you actually wish to achieve?

Anyway, you cannot simply disregard your fate.

I brought the case because they expected me to walk away with my tail between my legs,I didn't. My case is hard to prove but I wish to cause them as much inconvenience and costs as possible regardless of outcome and make them think twice about treating people in this way again. I worked there for 23 years and made many sacrifices (many many). I will see this thru come what may....

You have a mission.

However getting hexagram 9 suggests that this is not a good time to take action.

In other words, you do not have to abandon your plans. But this is not a good time to go forward with them, as nothing can be achieved at this time.

Perhaps you might hire a better legal person to help you --Not someone who will rip you off. You cannot contend legally without good legal counsel.

Hi,and thanks again.I'd like to request this thread be closed now - can that be done ? I've taken up too much of peoples time already and I need to concentrate on concrete real life issues,I'm being drawn back to this "asking" and it's not helping me.. I guess I need closure ! I honestly can't wait or stall - the case has taken 18 months already, the company I used initially has just provided me with empty promises (along with many others, they are profiteering on peoples misfortune but that's their karma,my karma is how I react to the situation) and left me unprepared for the hearing. However,I have had some free advice from a good forum and I'm sure I won't have to pay any more out now. My hope (and that hope isn't bundled with fear or anxiety) is that the Respondent's will think twice about paying their expensive solicitors to represent them at the hearing, even if they win and they are clear favourites, they can't get me to pay their costs unless the tribunal decide my case is vexatious, which it clearly isn't. So - in the great scheme of things this isn't important thus my request to draw this thread to a natural end. Many thanks once again - :)
