I have recently moved into a rental which is great except for the noise which has triggered my PTSD. The agent knew there was a noise issue but didn't disclose this information to me before I signed the lease even when I stressed to him that I needed a high level of peace and quiet. I have sent him an email explaining the whole dynamics of what's going on and he has responded by calling me and discussing it and is going to speak to the landlords about the situation. To be honest there's not a lot that can be done except to soundproof the place which is not really potentially possible - in the interim I have also been offered a better job than I have now but it's a couple of hundred km's away so breaking the lease would be ok by me but I'm also open to whatever happens. What do I need to know (now I've spoken up) about this becoming a break lease situation.....Hexagram 53.3>20. This looks to me that there will be an overview of the situation and I will be given the choice whether I want to stay or leave.

Well, isn't the 53.3 about predators coming in? It looks to me as if you had to be cautious and do whatever you can do protect yourself. Maybe speak to people close to you.

I already felt like I was taken advantage of by the agent (predator) I don’t trust what he says now but sent the email as part of the protocol to progress as indicated in the other readings about this. There was a few times I wanted to speak up but held off but tonight felt right to send it. Getting a medical report may be my next move of support.

At this point they've done an Overview Hexagram 20 and are putting things in place (Progress) to adjust the noise levels Hexagram 53.

So of course this hasn't happened and the predator has shown his true colours - I just need to work out my next move, I guess it's thinking like 'the predator' right?!

I did kind of start thinking about a stealth way to get out of this contract, not immoral or wrong but just trying to work out a way around the agents deceit and what I did worked, minor stuff but it worked and the contract will be broken without penalty or drama.
