Hexagrams and sexes

I am searching information about hexagrams and sex... I don't mean sexual intercourse. I mean male and female. For example: hex 1 is male. Hex 2 is female... what about the rest of hexagrams? Hex 49 is about 2 females.
I am trying to search the forum to find out more information.

There are associations to the bagua and the chong gua (doubled trigrams). Nada for the rest, although no doubt some fussbudget has devised such a system somewhere in the Han Dynasty or later.

I am immersed in hex 44 right now - which has always felt like a female
Hexagram. All the writings and translations about birth and female energy seem to indicate a very definite balance.

Someone once told me that the actual form of 44 looks like a human breast - which always springs to mind with this one.
