Hello again on this forum and happy new year 2024 (I can still say it, can't I? ).

Today I decided to join WikiWing and I wanted to ask Yi : How is WikiWing going to help me?
He answered me 55.2-34.

Well, I think hexagram 34 is clearly what WikiWing means. To be connected to a great creative force, to follow an established order.

And 55.2 indicates that WikiWing helps me as long as I find myself in uncertain situations, full of doubts, I will have at my disposal the necessary help to clarify them and open the way ahead, thanks to the contributions of WikiWing members.

It's such a motivating answer. So right. I'm thinking it should be on WikiWing.

Looking at my own 55.2 example in WikiWing , and what I know from experience using it... it can help a lot to see the different situations Yi selects 55.2 to express, and the different ways people express what 55.2 meant to them. Variations in how people say something can make a big difference sometimes.

I don't think this is describing what wikiwing will give you, it is describing your doubts about joining, speaking directly into your motivations at the time of asking as it mostly does.

From the description of wikiwing you'll know it's a large resource contributed to by many people. Contributions include reflections, thoughts and experiences. There is also obviously Hilary's translation and commentary as well as information about all kinds of things Yi related, hexagrams of context and so on. It costs a tiny amount like a £1 a month I think if that is all someone can afford. It's also of course somewhere you can share what you have to give that will remain for others to see. It offers you a place in the writing of a great big book really and also contributes financially to the upkeep of the site. What's not to like ? There's no downside to trying it out, you can leave if you want to. Insights on the forum are good but they get lost, but in wiki it's all in one place. There are now many subsections for each hexagram, ie the relating hexagram, hexagram as a whole and so on. This book awaits the author Azul to make his mark to add his mind to the collective endeavour, to be part of it's making and to share in it's resource. You don't have to add things of course but I'm sure over time you will have things to say.

So my sense of your answer is that it is directed to what you are feeling. Always look for yourself and how you feel in an answer to make sense of it, which you have in your first post as well, and that would be the 'doubts and anxieties'

You are worried about going ahead but needn't be. You can move forward in confidence. This seems a good omen also for your own entries.

That's my take on it. There's other ways of course but that's how I take it, that Yi is addressing your anxieties rather than describing how wiki will benefit you

Hexagram 55.1 is about reaching the mountain top, meeting the guru, enlightenment!. But in 50.2 we find we are still in darkness. What to do when we’ve gotten an answer from the I Ching but the answer makes no sense or even if it does we still find no outer world answer - not even from the I Ching - can make our decisions for us? It says we still have to trust our own inner guidance - but the good news is that if we do then all will be well.

Hexagram 33 is about 33 Retreating from the group path and 35. is about moving forward on one’s own path. However, one does not leap from 33. Retreat to 35. Progress. First comes 34. stabilizing and gaining confidence for our new direction.

Thus in answer to the question How can WikiWing help? I see 55.2-34 as saying WikiWing is offering you a chance to clarify your understanding and give you confidence that your interpretation is valid and so can be trusted and acted on..

By way of information and clarification, I will say that I first subscribed to WikiWing and then I asked the question to the oracle.
Reading you, perhaps, I asked this question because I had doubts about whether I was doing the right thing.
Even if I wasn't entirely clear, seeing the resulting hexagrams I felt I could rest easy with the decision.

I also wanted to tell you that it is very likely that I will also contribute things, results, perspectives of my "harvest" to WikiWing. I am in a very productive connection with the oracle lately.

an explanation that I liked very much for its simplicity and because thanks to the mention of the 33, I have seen that a reading that I have just made and shared in the 33 uc thread is totally a ratification of what I have deduced as a decision to take.
