Hi I asked about my love life, currently I am not in any kind of relationship. Recently I find this fling with someone at work you know when you look in someone’s eyes and something happens, so I indirectly asked him for his number or to visit his pet but I had no success so I thought maybe its just me. So I asked Yi about my love life and I got 14.3.6 to 54!I guess it means that there is a great potential and line 3 means I have to sacrifice something for itand line 6 says its gonna be fine but 54 says I am to small to act. So what about sacrifice?I asked about the sacrifice And I got 38.4 41! Which led to more confusion.what? I have to scale things to small affairs and offer a little bit??I’m not very good at relationship stuff I have fallen in love before but it has always been just on my side and I have ended up with great friends but not lovers! So I am a little bit scared of developing an obsession over this guy whom I find attractive and I meet him all the time at work!Help please

Stop - you are running away with the notion of sacrifice here. Line 3 simply asks you if you have enough to offer, it is not demanding sacrifice only asking you if you can afford to offer up what you have. I think the 54 there is quite literal, you are the marrying maiden and it seems you actually don't get to choose. I think you have to be guided by not by who you are attracted to but by who finds you attractive. I don't think you need to be so proactive, I think you have all it takes to attract someone. 14 shows you have it, you have a wealth to offer.

Ah - the fact you say that 'it has always been just on my side' supports how I interpreted your first reading. You don't need to try so hard - and I feel this answer confirms the first. Realize some things can come to you, pick you out, and I think that is how things in your love life will happen. Just when you feel alone like no one gets you someone shows up who is interested in you.


The 54 in the first answer was interesting because of course the maiden chooses nothing she is chosen. Traditionally, in my generation anyway, it was unthinkable to ask a boy out, you had to wait to be asked by him. Now things have changed and females can be more proactive yet it rarely works when a woman pursues a man it works better the other way around. So for you in particular I think Yi is saying you have all these wonderful qualities that 14 shows which will include your appearance, your personality, everything, Yi shows you have all this but you do not choose you will be chosen and that's good because that is your guidance to end up in the right relationship for you.. So I think you have to re-orientate yourself about how this works in your life. I don't think you should take the initiative, I think you should simply be more conscious of your own beauty, youth, the wealth of all you possess in your body and mind and know that it's a lot that you possess, a lot you have to offer and the right person for you will be the one who sees that.

I think line 3 is asking 'are you ready to give of yourself' and possibly 'are you ready to be chosen ?' because of course when the marrying maiden marries her whole life changes, she offers her life up, it isn't just a dalliance. She enters into a contract whereby she surrenders her own life to something bigger.

You interpretation makes a lot of sense, to be honest I kind of knew I have to wait for love to come to me but friends kept telling me to go for him, I couldn’t ask him out so after a horrible stressful day just after he said goodbye I asked him can you take me to visit Loris? ))))Thank God Loris is actually a slow loris it’s not a common pet! He rescued it from a stupid owner who had paid a lot of money on it but couldn’t keep it and he said let me clean her place but afterwards he never said ok come and see!Sorry About all the details! Being a marrying maiden reminds me of the part of me that has put me in those two unrequited loves and I don’t like that you know I want to be that cool woman who actively attracts guys which I am not! Well I’m not seeing anyone that hasn’t changed but I have changed, I think what Trojina wrote above is really helpful, it really thought me so much.
Since I asked this question I’ve been through so much and I really am more aware of who I am and what I have . I really did stop being so proactive and it’s very reliving . I’ve been a chaser all my life and now it really feels good not to put myself down,not to push. I am not seeing anybody but I don’t feel empty anymore you know, It is quite the opposite.Hope this will help you but again Trojina’s reply is really wise and helpful.
