I had to manage a fire

So…I was burning five tea candles in a wooden holder provided me by someone I dearly love. It is one of four material things she has given me as a gift. I was burning the candles because another friend who is a medium said I should. They said August 4th was import and the number four was important. Said the 8th month was one of the harvest. So, to make a long story short, all of a sudden, the fourth candle (left to right) began to shoot up like a torch…scorching the table beneath it and reducing the tea candle to a crystal. I’d provide pictures if I could. I put the fire out before it did much damage, but only the immediate surrounding area was affected, the fourth place.



So I asked the iChing… “Meaning of the 4th candle on fire?” and it retuned 20.6 > 8.

Not understanding the response, “What is the meaning of the fire sign?” to which it retuned 31.3.4 > 8.



This was a powerful experience. I was stirred to safely contain the fire before the smoke alarms went off in my house… but they invariably did, heightening the experience.



How should I understand this experience?

Contemplating life as objectively as able, while holding together the union with your subjective experiences, is one creative and useful way to look at it.

Though 'meaning' is rarely, if ever, an objective perspective. It's the perspective we've attached to or associated with an experience which creates its meaning to us.

So, the question may well be asked in return: What did the fire event mean to you?

If I understand the question of the fire from a reflective, "what did it mean to me". Honestly, nothing in the immediate moment but a rather strange occurrence. It was only after I put the fire out by placing the five candle holder under a faucet mean something to me. When I cleaned out the 4th reservoir, I was surprised to find the crystalized remains. Immediately, I became aware of what a seer had told the person who had given me the holder. The seer told my friend, the love of my life, that they saw a crystal or crystallization. My friend at the time could not figure out what that meant.

The same seer told me the number five was important, and that five candles were meaningful, but especially the 4th. Because of the first part of the vision, my friend bought and surprised me with the holder as a gift. I was also told August 4th was auspicious. Ironically, in another post, I was told August 4th was also meaningful.

The last piece of this puzzle, as it were, was that I have been asking the universe for a sign for my friend, she has been on the cusp of some significant transformative changes in her life. So, rather than asking anything for myself, I've been asking for her to receive a vision.

So, what do I believe. I believe the crystal is a sign for her, not me. Accordingly, I asked the universe "the consequences of giving [her] the crystal tonight" (when we would normally see each other) and received 29.5 > 7.

I'm not sure how to interpret this. But other postings about 29.5 > 7 would seem to indicate that I should.

You can't make the decision for her, for all the rituals and good will in the world. It's obviously a very difficult emotional time (hex 29) and line 5 would indicate to me a worry that one may be taking on more than one can handle and this line may be a reassurance that water will flow away before it covers ones head - i.e. don't worry, you won't drown, but 29 is repeated pit so it is something that has to be gone through again and again apparently.
