I think what Yi is saying here is not a yes or no answer- maybe you just won't be able to know that yet. Trust is something created between people. You're on a "quest for something real" so perhaps you should just pay attention his behavior, not suspiciously, but just see if it works for you or doesn't, then you'll have grounds to decide whether or not he's trustworthy.
