Hello forum,

I wanted to ask for your help again to see if it is possible if you could tell me what response I've got from these readings.

It's just that I have a little suspicion in my mind about something and I am not sure if it is my paranoia or if it's something real. I basically think that someone is trying to avoid me because of something about myself that he does not like.

I asked: what do you tell me about this belief I have? 24.4 to 51

and then: it's what I suspect true? 50.5 to 44

Any ideas?

Hello Venus

While I can understand your frustration in this matter, I would recommend not worrying about it. Obviously a certain type of behavior has caused concern. You want to know. I would too, but this type of thing will come out in the wash. If the behavior continues, you will know what it means. If it does not, you will know you are mistaken. The fourth line is the only line in this hexagram that has a proper relationship. (With the first line.) It is related to that line only and hence, it is said that it remains solitary, (from the other lines only, not the first.) You know something about this situation that the rest of us don't. Hence only you can determine what that means. However, the rest of what I write here is for everyone, because it has a more universal application, but it might help you to make sense out of this too.

I have often said, in every line, the I Ching is talking about itself in relationship to us. Here it is a little more obvious. The I Ching is telling us that all of us, totally, are hanging out with inferior people. (That of course, means we are inferior too.) We will never, ever, recognize this unless we do something to improve ourselves morally and spiritually. Therefore, the only one line four truly has a relationship with is the the I Ching itself. It is only when we recognize this relationship and foster it that we become the truly great person we were meant to be. Line one says, "return from a short distance." If the distance were long, we would not be able to return,because we are too far away from the source of nourishment (hexagram 27, 48, and others) that the I Ching can offer us. We must honor and respect the teaching in all cases.

And Venus, again. If this person is against you or ignoring you due to some character defect, is it too late to correct that flaw? Line 5 speaks of a man who is approachable. Are you approachable?
