need your help interpreting 25.5 - 27 and relationship

I have been dating this guy whom I really like and recently we had a few misunderstanding and discussions thereafter on how we hurt each other. We both professed really caring for each other and trying to make it work, but we have not spoken or written in 4 days. Normally we see each other on Sundays (tomorrow) and I wanted to write and ask him if he is coming. I asked the Iching - do I ask him to come here tomorrow and got 25.5 - 27? Any thoughts?

First 25.5 changes to 21 not 27. Is that the correct reading you got? 25.5>21?

sorry new to iching, got cast hex 25, changing line 5 and then transformed hex 27, thank you for your help

That's what I mean. Hexagram 25, line 5 doesn't change to 27. 25 line 5 changes to 21. So first we have to make sure what your reading was before we can go forward to help interpret what Iching is saying to you.

Cast Hex: 25 - Twenty-Five Wu Wang / Remaining Blameless
Changing Lines: 5
Transformed Hex: 27 I / Providing Nourishment

How did you do your cast? Did you cast coins? Did you use the online cast? First its very good to learn how to cast. There is a lot of good information on here explaining in depth on how the casting works. The next thing you can do is read the relationship sticky right above where you posted your question, this will give you give insight into what questions to ask that will be helpful. The thread was started by Hilary. Open ended question are best. Questions focused more on here and now are best. Questions focused more on yourself are best. At least for a beginner...

After you have learned the Iching some, its good to read different translations and find something that works for you. This way when you post a question here, you can also give feedback on what you think the Iching may be saying to you, then you will learn more and see your progress as you go.

Ok, perhaps they had a computer error. I am not sure. This is why its good to learn how to cast using coins, the old fashion way. Let me see if I can find a link to it. If not maybe another seasoned member can post it.

No, I'm sorry the result is not accurate. I'm thinking you most likely got hexagram 25, line 5 changing to 21. By the way Welcome! Its great to see someone excited and eager to learn.

I think 25.5 says do nothing, he will come around eventually.
If there was a script error, showing only line 5 instead of lines 4 and 5 leading to 27 then my advice would be the same.

Line 4 says "We cannot lose what really belongs to us, even if we throw it away.
Therefore we need have no anxiety." (Wilhelm).

Sure love go right on ahead lol a bit late but today is Sunday haha...
Uhm basically the line is saying don't try to fix something that ain't broken, it was a minor thing and it'll pass on it's own.
