With four or more lines I would just read the hexagrams. I think it generally says candidates will approach the voters with the things they have done. Their literal "chicken in every pot." And voters will act accordingly.
Your second reading 27.1.3 is I think in the context of the first reading, that people that refuse the nourishment that's in that pot, that food /opportunities that've been provided and just reject it, will have long faces ,nowhere to go, and be lost in the wilderness for 10 years.

Sorry, but to me, your interpretations are based on what you want to happen, and not at all on what the Yi might actually be saying to you.... my interpretation is based on the oracles itself literally ...
When you post a political question here, you always start with the opinion of a tarot reader or someone that you agree with politically, and work from your conclusion backwards.Querent, my interpretation is based on the oracles itself literally. I feel that voters will vote blue, enabling a blue wave. And those who refuse will be in denial.
The refusers were myriad, and the denial was enough to spark an attempted coup ... which is something that I never thought would happen in my lifetime, certainly. I think that your interpretation of the hexagrams and lines, when compared with the reality of what happened, was quite accurate, and it was actually the other commenter's own political beliefs that caused them to negate your interpretation ...Querent, my interpretation is based on the oracles itself literally. I feel that voters will vote blue, enabling a blue wave. And those who refuse will be in denial.
