Hi again,

Follow up - in addition to previous post I would really like help with.

So like my previous post- I feel like I want to go home even more now - the thing holding me here is my knowledge and experience of low wages in my home country. Whenever I am in the country I am now, I earn and save more quicker than I ever can back home. But last time I went home, I didn’t go back with enough, got injured within a month of arriving back, unable to do work due to weeks of chronic pain and my savings evaporated.

I am still working towards heading home but to achieve other personal goals between now and then as well.

Another state I am wanting to move back to, was my first home - however I do not have a place or job lined up there yet.

I asked an additional question today and would really like members of this forum to give me their take on it, as I am at a loss as to what it means given what I asked as follows:

Please give insight to help me figure out where and what to do for my best career and finance wise? and Yi's answer, 8.5 to 2.

It sounds like a reflection of the position I am in - as the job I am in has a high turnover due to the challenging environment being remote, having broken vehicles for work transport and third world looking toilets at the office - the job itself is not challenging.

It sounds like I am being told that I am free to leave, do not need to feel guilty about giving up and leaving this post - to go where I feel truly united? But I wish it gave more of an idea of what kind of job role would really suit me best as well.

What do others think?

Thank you please in advance ✨

Something where your natural inclination (8) leads you. The more natural and unforced you can feel in a working environment the better and this often is down to the social environment there too. 8.5 changes to 2 of course and that's what you got for the other thread

So I think you can pretty much plant whatever you want in the field (2) it doesn't look like a path full of obstacles to go back there (referring to your last thread) but it also doesn't necessarily look as if you're swept off your feet with offers/ideas/ motivation as to what to do when you get there, you're still feeling it out, looking for a guide, guidance as to what to follow, what direction to pursue. I think with this cast it's worth luxuriating in the ownership of this choice because we don't always have it. While this can feel difficult because as yet it's not clear what direction to take it's also quite a gift as you get to make it as you want it. I'm writing of that cast/thread here because it is relevant to this reading...andd will cross link from there too

8 then, things start to emerge in the field of 2

Always good to read the Oracle, Image and line out loud....this works for understanding. Don't know how but it works more than one might imagine. So

'Seeking union, good fortune.
Retracing the oracle consultation to its source: fundamental, ever-flowing constancy.
Not a mistake.
Not at rest, coming on all sides.

For the latecomer, pitfall.'

Time to rouse oneself, be awake to possibilities not second guessing oneself too much. The second line 'Retracing the oracle...' is Hilary once pointed out, often pointing you back to ask yourself why you asked the question, what motive was at the heart of the question? Reflecting on this can be a useful guide as to what one is really after....and you want to know what you are after.

You asked what is best for career and finance wise but there is also 'you-wise' 'what you want wise' and the questions come back to you

'what financial situation do you want/need that is viable in circumstances?'
'where do you want the career to go?'

Yi isn't going to tell you what you want but it is encouraging you to look at you and decide what you want. Not 'want' as in 'I ought to have this' but actually want, in your heart want.

Image.....the best way to act

'Above earth is the stream. Seeking union.
The ancient kings founded countless cities to connect those named as feudal lords.'

Towns are founded in naturally fertile places, where there is life running through, streams running through, places where people congregate to trade and bond. I think the idea here is this is a natural process here at the same time as being 'man-made'. It is a natural process for humans to gather to appoint people in roles as helpers or even leaders. So this is about following your innate human tendencies to go within the 2 field and find those to join with, those you can trade and connect with. I think this a picture of you getting active within that 2 field of possibilities

Line 5

'A clear sign of seeking union.
The king uses three beaters,
Lets the game in front go.
The city people are not coerced.

Good fortune.'

I get the idea for you here it is suggested you start reaching out to multiple organisations/places, wherever you seek work. The idea is not so much to sit and think about which one is the right one for you but start making offers, offering yourself up to those that appeal to you. Obviously you don't have to take what you don't like and also those who respond or who have potential openings will more likely be the 'right fit' for you. I think this is a line of actively doing what you can to get what you want but not getting dejected by what you cannot catch, the game you cannot catch, just spreading the net wide and allowing what fits you to come to you.

Practically then in the first part of the answer yes consider what you'd like, what you need, but rather than pick out one or two options spread your net a bit wider even including things you would like but don't think you will get. This could be fun if one had the energy for it, applying to all kinds of things while keeping in mind there's no need for pressure on you to 'land' one of these in particular. The line says coercion is not used and that applies to one's own self as well as the potential employers.

You started with 2 and now have one line changing to make it 8....this would be activity within that field that is quite proactive but also open and not minding too much about potential rejections.

The answer isn't telling you what job to do but I think it is giving several good hints as to how to go about things, as described.

1. Get fully in touch with what you want and need from work. You have 8 so while it is about work it's still a heart thing, it's still about belonging and feeling naturally at home somewhere and feeling naturally at home in the kind of tasks you have to do. The more natural it feels, the less it feels against your nature, the more you are following streams already flowing so to speak

2. Having looked again at what you want go after it proactively in a fairly unrestricted sort of way. I think this is a line of putting out feelers, offering oneself, sending out resumes etc rather than just waiting for specific appointments to be advertised then applying.

Overall it looks quite an organic process for you to find the work you want. You are going towards what feels naturally you and you are pursuing it with a wide net trusting that eventually you will bag what is a good natural fit for you.

8 has to do with natural affinities and so I don't see you as needing to go towards anything that feels alien to your own nature.
And as I said at the start it is worth going back to look at your own nature to see what it wants and needs, it's natural propensities and so on... then gathering 'feudal lords' around you, reaching out, letting what you don't catch run off without minding

Thank you sooooo much Trojina - this all really helps a lot. I truly appreciate it, the advice resonates with me and so I will be applying for all the jobs I am interested in even the ones I think I might not get. On the one hand I feel that I am getting called back to Youth Work as it most fits with my hearts purpose - though it’s challenging at times finding the right organisation and team to work with. 🙏🏻✨
