possibility of rekindling romance 29.2

Hello, guys,
I've posted before on this forum regarding my relationship which was then just beginning. To cut the chase, we broke up. It could have been fixed if I tried/he tried, if I had listened to I Ching, which I unfortunatelly didn't. Anyways, we separated, I've moved back to my country etc. And even though there isn't much to hope about now, I am willing to keep up the spirits and to leave space for eventual reconcilliation. I've asked I Ching is this relationship forever finished and received 29.2 changing to 8. I want this man back in my life even though it was a tumultuous relationship and he obviously wasn't that into me as much as I was into him.
please help me out with this.

Hexagram 29 line 2 speaks of being enclosed in some way, but with a small or minor deliverance:

九二: 坎有险, 求小得. Jiǔ èr: kǎn yǒu xiǎn, qiú xiǎo dé.
The second ‘nine’, undivided, shows its subject in all the peril of the defile. He will, however, get a little (of the deliverance) that he seeks.

象传: 求小得, 未出中也. Xiàng zhuàn: Qiú xiǎo dé, wèi chū zhōng yě.
'He will get a little (of the deliverance) that he seeks:' - he will not yet escape from his enclosed position.

You any be able to communicate with him, have a chat, but you are somehow restricted or enclosed by the emotions of the situation (Kan means "water flowing"), and there is peril in holding in huge emotions; perhaps you need to take time to grieve what you have lost?

Even if you ever did reunite with him, it would be in a different time & circumstances, and it could never be what ye had in the past.

The "peril" indicated in Kan perhaps refers to the tumult in the relationship & in yourself & it might be useful to ask "What huge flow am I holding back in myself? "

Also, perhaps look at the emotional roots of your part of the tumultuous relationship. You are now in another country (!!!) which is not a movement towards him. Did you do this as a reaction to breaking up with him, or was it in your plans anyway?

I think hexagram 29.2 here warns that though you will gain something small from communication with him, you won't reconcile nd that it will leave you in a very tumultuous emotional place

Thank you. I moved because we broke up and I have nothing to do there besides him. This relationship wasn't even what I had in mind when we got off. I don't know anymore. I cast several other readings and I hadn't even got a clue what to ask anymore, what is the appropriate question for this. I will cast for that question that you suggested, I think it's a wise question.

Ok so I asked the I Ching about this blockage. The question was, what is this blockage between me and M all about?
I got hexagram 1 changing to 14. The Creative changing to Great Possession. I'd gladly hear what you have to say. we are both in creative business, indirectly. we have similar professions. As much as I had loved being him, I hated him for things he's done and I don't see us in near future anywhere close to making up. But this was very close to a creative duo that "has it all" and I wonder if there is a way to move in that direction under different circumstances.

Anyway, the advice could be:
29.2>08.2 double danger=double damage... the first is the wrong inner union that you have to detach yourself from so that it doesn't dominate you, trust yourself that you can get out of it and do nothing else, avoiding yourself to tame the situation... the second, hidden, is the collateral damage that will result from being united, close to this person, which you have to sort out, investigate what it could be in order to avoid it, remedy it... to understand and get rid of it you have to do only small things, alone... no one can help you and you don't have to do it... only I can do it (I Ching)
