question about joining gym

I'm in fairly good shape and I do a lot of exercises at home to strengthen and tone. However, my inner thighs are not as firm as I would like them to be. Therefore, I have been thinking about joining a gym a few blocks from my house. They have a Nautilus thigh machine there and I've used it in the past to tone my inner thighs. I wanted to ask the Yi first though because I don't want to waste money on this.

My question:

What do I need to know about joining the gym in order to use the thigh machine to tone up?

13.1 - 33

I think this is telling that going out and doing this in a gym is a good thing overall. It won't be money wasted and I might even meet people there and use the gym for other reasons as well.

I asked about not joining the gym and just continuing to do the inner thigh exercises here at home:

35.4 - 23

I read this as telling me that it's definitely not going to be as effective as going to the gym. I will waste time perhaps even doing the exercises improperly.

Do you agree that it's a thumbs up for the gym?

Yes, I agree that it's a thumbs up for the gym and a definite thumbs down for doing the exercises at home.

Update on the gym question

Everything is going very well at the gym. There's a very friendly and helpful woman there who is showing me how to use the various machines. I think I will definitely continue.
