I have been travelling to the UK to do a medical test (a colonoscopy)
I can't help but note how pushing upwards is kind of what a colonoscopy is doing it jumped out at me. It could look a picture of such a procedure especially line 6 as in being the end of the probe searching in the dark as it were. What may "pushing upward" mean, within this context?
I basically wanted to get a sense as to whether there is some sense of urgency around taking this test, or whether it can wait until a later date.
I couldn't take anything from the reading commenting on urgency. I'm presuming the Dr has given you some idea as to why they asked for the test and from that you'd have an idea if this were routine for minor symptoms or more urgent for more pressing symptoms.but does not seem to respond to either my query whether this test is 'urgent' (my sense is that it isn't) and the related matter on whether it could be postponed.
