relation 7 2,4>32 - 3,2>60

hello all!!

i'm having difficulty to understand the answer to what should i know about him?

7 THE ARMY. The army needs perseverance and a strong man.
Good fortune without blame.
2nd: Good fortune. No blame. The king bestows a triple decoration.

4th:The army retreats. No blame.

and then the 32 ...... i don t get if is the continuity of the retreat or what.

When i asked what is the best to do whit this relation ship?

3 DIFFICULTY AT THE BEGINNING

It furthers one to appoint helpers.
2n: Difficulties pile up.
Horse and wagon part.
He is not a robber;

then 60 LIMITATION. Success.
Galling limitation must not be persevered in.
so?!?!?!

is he is going to start and neverending army against me and is better the i take it easy and step back because we went too fast in short time ?

Hi Marin!

Well, the first question you asked can be a bit tricky to understand, in my opinion... because the I Ching might just let you know something you ''should'' know about him. You probably got 32, the relating hexagram, because ''durability'' is probably something You, yourself, are looking for with this relationship, I might be wrong... but in the most part that is what we look for. When you get two yin lines changing, I usually focus on the top yin-- so... 7.4 relates to some sort of ''relax state of being'' (or retreating), and which it indicates that there is nothing wrong with doing that. So, I am not sure if that has to do with your relationship at this point, or if that has to do with him personally. Maybe he is relaxing with something the I Ching thinks you ''should'' know.

With your last question. I think it is pretty straight forward. 3.2 > 60. Hexagram 3- difficulty in the beginning. The old yin line that changes again is pretty straight forward and it has to do with relationships... difficulties piling up, differences of opinion (cart separating), it's from someone that is not an antagonist, but from someone who is interested, the woman refrains, she does not commit, then she commits after 10 years. But 10 years here, is not 10 actual years... remember, that 10 years back then was probably close to eternity, while now... what you can do in a couple of years is worth 10 years back then. Hexagram 60 talks about limitation... but it is also related to channeling water (the relationship) to where you want it to go. Yes, you need limitations to get where you want to go, it's never easy, but you can get there. Anyhow, I do wish you luck. Hopefully I made some sort of sense. Take care!

thanks a lot for your post

the first question actually was "what do i need to know about him?" maybe makes difference...


but anyway i still not understanding... and the changing lines that i see with oppossitte meanings don't help at all. Before there corpes to bring out from the war field (that looks not so bad... i mean, better take them to buried than let them on the war field, isn't?)

but you are even not taking care of the 2 lines.... anyway, the 4th line is a retreating, that changes the hexagram to the liberation, hex 40. dont know if this have something to do with all :/

the second question 3,2>60 i used to understand the moving line like "take care, choose well. not commit now , wait for other possibility" and then 60, limitations, i thought was a way to remember you to stay with you, accept the limitd between you and the other, but, how to say, in a gentil way.

But i have to recognised that i don t get it so much... i don t know how to read the hexagrams in a deeper way.
For example, what do u think is meaning the "horse and wagon part"??

Hi Again!

Well, a lot of other readers sometimes read multiple lines, I really don't, and I can attest that I get pretty accurate results just reading one line, but there's well a way to do it, you can't pick a line at random, well if you wish to read about it here's a reference http://www.russellcottrell.com/VirtualYarrowStalks/rules.htm I find it useful.

Well, about your reading... the only advice I can give is that you can ask another question to help you out. I usually do when I am not getting it, and usually after a couple more questions I get the general feel of what the I Ching is trying to say.
