I got hexagram 60 changing to 11 with changing lines 3 and 5 changing. Does anyone have any advice about what to do?

Line 3: Not gathering restraint, the consequence is gathering laments. No fault.
This is hard for you to do (or for them?), to act in a measured and non-impulsive way, but accept that about yourself without blame and try to learn from it.

Line 5: Sweet restraint, auspicious. To proceed brings honor.
If you are patient and act at the right time, using the awareness from line 3, you will succeed.

Composure brings progress. Sounds like a gentle, straightforward approach is best.

I'm curious if there has been an issue with one of you moving too fast or taking an action the other found to be 'too much' somehow?

We did take things to another level recently, and I've been wondering if it was too fast.

i agree, either slow down or find appropriate boundaries that you both agree upon (line 3) and you might just find the sweet spot of this relationship (line 5).
