Season's Greetings!

A final Christmas present to everyone..

The original 1923/ 1924 German editions of the I Ching, by Richard William, are available for download at the Ruhr University website, from the Richard Wilhelm Translation Centre, along with transltions of other Chinese classics by Wilhelm.

If your German isn't very good you can still have a go at it by using the translator app in your book reader, if you're that way inclined, or for curiosity's sake, simply have a look at the beautiful typesetting and page designs of this monumental publication, which served as the basis for the perennial English translation of Cary Baynes, known to all of us in some form or another.

It was originally published in two volumes, volume one containing Book one, the text, and Book two, the material, and the second volume, published the following year, containing Book three, the commentary. Here are the links, plus a link to the webpage. Enjoy! Happy new year.

Original title: "I Ging, Das Buch der Wandlungen"
