Should I look for another job? 46.6 > 18

I've been employed for half a year now and I earn an okay amount. Out of nowhere, a different company reached out to me asking if I was looking for employment. I asked is I should accept the offer and I got 46.6 > 18 I took 46 as a sign to move upward, i.e., to go ahead and respond to the offer but line 6 and 18 throw me off.

Maybe I'm missing something here. Is the Yi telling me that if I accept the offer, I will rot and decay and go nowhere? But why would it give me 46 in the first place?

I'll be honest on this one chief, I came out more confused than when I started reading that thread.

Pushing upward where? Am I pushing forward in the dark with my current job? Or is it talking about my pushing forward with the other company's offer? Getting entangled where? Am I currently being entangled in my current job? Will I be entangled if I accept the other company's offer?

I'm not sure I understand the interpretation. If there is a "tendency to close down and focus on ends" and that "it is too early for ends", then how should I approach 48.6>18? Making a decision was precisely the purpose of the reading.

Hilary says Pushing upward in the dark' feels to me like holding on to aspirations when you can't see your way - perhaps moving towards the atmosphere of 47, finding yourself in the dark valley. If you forge onward in bright hard-working optimism for long enough, in the end you'll have to deal with the darker influences at work - zhi 18. But neither this line nor 18 itself suggest that the answer is to change direction to try to escape the darkness. Instead it advises 'constancy' - which sounds to me like loyalty to a deeper self, constantly renewed contact with inner truth, at a time when ordinary perception or feedback isn't working. You're aspiring towards 18.6, 'honouring what is highest'.

I resonate to Hilary's interpretation and is much more clear in my mind. But this still applies to both situations. I can hold on to my aspirations on both scenarios. I can continue to learn what my current job has to offer, which remains to be a lot. On the other hand, I want to learn new things with the other company, which I am also interested in. It is in this sense that I am confused how I can honor what is highest.

"this attitude of always moving towards the next "pot of gold", without giving time and dedication to what you have in hand... as if your next step, even in the darkness of uncertainty, were a more certain advance to climb the "golden stairs to heaven"...
....why Expending current opportunities instead of accruing current resources into more dedicated advancement in the current job?"
