I asked "Should I wait for things to change between me and him?" and Yi's answer, 10.1.5.6 to 40.

Can you explain what it means please?
Thank you in advance :)

No, I think it's important you make the effort to explain what it means first before asking others. It's much better that way. Even a rough stab at understanding by yourself is far far better than just plonking the question down for others to explain to you. No one learns anything like that.

Can you explain what you think the answer means ? You could start by putting the two hexagram titles together to see what sentence they make ?

What I understand is : Is not an easy situation since it talks about touching tiger's tail without bite. Someone must treat a tiger with harmony but yet there is danger. I think these are my worries about how to make him come closer to me.
Yi speaking about how he feels and why he went away. It was needed this "break" for both of us.
Before I continue I should stop and ask my self if this is what I really want.
There is good fortune and things should take their time.
Am I right at some point?

My sense with this cast is that things will go on pretty much as they have been. The yang change pattern is 42, yin pattern 32. Lines 1 and 6 move in hex 10 so there is a picture of something completing, running on a loop and of course 10.6 advises you to look back at what has been so far to envision what happens next.

40 never advises waiting. It says either choose to go on or choose to let go.

There's more than one way to see this cast but my impression is you can't rely on very much changing and so need to make a choice based on what you have seen so far.
