To accept or not? 60.4.5 to 54

I have been asked by another company to participate in a joint project. The frills attached is that they do not want to go to the usual procedures, but they want me to do that for them, which requires effort and time from me. My boss and the head want me to go ahead, but I have resented the somewhat unkind way in which I have been approached and my instinctive reaction was to drop the proposal. I have then asked the Oracle for advice as to how I should act and received "60.4.5" turning to "54". This is a bit unclear to me. "60.4.5" seems to suggest that I should accept some restrictions for a greater good. However, "60.4.5" turns to "54", which means enterprises bode not well. Any suggestion as to how I can make sense of this? Thank you.
