Line 55.1 is about accepting the hospitality of an equal, a peer. It warns that if certain limits are exceeded, then calamity comes. So it would seem that it is over. Then again, on the other hand, the various translators and commentators don't seem to agree on what those limits are all about, and so I'd say that if you keep an open mind, who knows what might happen . . .

.. I was not sure if 55.1 refers to our past !! .. .. my question was ''Will there be a happy end for us'' ..so I was wondering if it means we will get together for a short time (I would not want that)

55.1 Discribes getting together for a specific task and then moving on. I can see how you might interpret that to mean the two of you could get together for a short time and then, recognizing that your relationship no longer serves a purpose, you would move on. sort of like getting together so you can break up on less hurtful terms. So yes, I can see how it could be interpreted to mean you get together for a short time.
I also see how this line could be a comment for relationships in general and what the true definition of a "happy end" might be - The IC seems to be saying that a "happy ending" is not that you stay together forever but rather that when things come to their inevitable end, people are able to part, to end, happily.

I read this line as saying the relationship is over and that you are feeling sad because it had a rough ending - but that doesn't it was wrong to break up.

I wonder if you should see this line as encouragement to contact your ex and say something like "I really didn't want things to end this way between us. Can we get together for a couple of hours and talk?" Work out the 62. Details!

Best of luck with this!
